Lettings Negotiator
North Leeds
£23,000 + bonus
Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am-12pm
The successful candidate may have property experience, but not essential. What is, is someone with energy and enthusiasm, someone who is well presented and articulate, with great communication skills.
Lettings Negotiator Responsibilities:
1. Correctly identify the needs of prospective tenants
2. Identify and provide suitable properties for prospective tenants
3. Maintain and update as appropriate own knowledge of currently available properties
4. Undertake property matching for prospective tenants as required
5. Receiving and checking incoming tenancy applications for errors & omissions
6. Producing appropriate admin paperwork to Landlords & Tenants
7. Undertaking regular reviews and updates of existing live references and giving feedback / updates as appropriate to landlords and prospective tenants
8. Prospect & arrange Rental Valuations for prospective Landlords
9. Arrange viewing appointments for prospective tenants
10. Using the companies' management software to produce appropriate tenancy agreements and associated documentation
11. Comply with requirements of Tenant Deposit Scheme
12. Liaise between Landlords, prospective tenants and management centre during the application referencing process
Skills:
1. A passion for property & people
2. Previous experience of working in estate agency or a customer service driven sales environment
3. A warm friendly personality and a willingness to learn new skills
4. An enthusiastic & high energy approach to work
5. A strong administration background and ability to organise workload
6. To comply with ARLA best practice and agreed procedures regarding all aspects of work
7. Good IT literacy, familiar with Outlook, Word and Excel
8. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
9. Problem solving abilities with a good and appropriate use of initiative
10. To maintain an enthusiastic & high energy approach to work
