Our Consulting team has a major role in driving the firm’s growth, with over 1,700 people delivering nearly £200m revenue.
At the core of Consulting are six solutions: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. These solutions support our clients’ strategic goals and empower our team members to make an impact and develop their careers.
An exciting opportunity exists within the Restructuring Delivery Team to contribute significantly to its future development and success.
Essential qualifications include corporate insolvency experience, with a focus on training and developing junior team members. The candidate should possess strong technical, analytical, and report-writing skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and a passion for training.
The role involves collaborating with colleagues nationwide, both within RDT and the wider Restructuring Advisory team. Effective communication is essential to manage progress and expectations. While attendance at marketing events is not mandatory, the candidate may choose to participate locally to support marketing and business objectives.
The team’s structure offers a predictable workflow, supporting a healthy work/life balance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the delivery of Administration and Liquidation processes in accordance with standard procedures and compliance requirements.
2. Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely task completion.
3. Building internal relationships across RSM to support RDT objectives.
4. Managing, training, coaching, and supervising graduate and school leaver staff.
5. Providing on-the-job training to team members.
Candidate profile:
We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Our ideal candidate will have:
* CPI qualification is a plus but not required.
* 3-4 years’ experience in Restructuring Advisory and/or Insolvency, preferably at Assistant Manager level.
* Proficiency with case management systems like IPS.
* Decision-making and effective communication skills.
* Strong insolvency technical knowledge, including drafting proposals and reports.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Commitment to high-quality work within deadlines.
* Dedication to personal development and training junior team members.
