Thorn Baker is collaborating with an established Facilities Management company based in North West Yorkshire. We are seeking a Cleaning Area Manager to oversee and monitor 16 retail sites across North West Yorkshire.
The ideal candidate is currently in a similar role or ready to advance from a cleaning supervisor position, with relevant experience in a comparable environment.

Main Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Ensuring work complies with company policies, procedures, and legislation.
2. Maintaining contract retention targets.
3. Conducting quarterly Health & Safety audits and monthly cleaning inspections.
4. Recruiting and selecting staff.
5. Training, developing, and onboarding employees.
6. Managing and motivating a competent workforce.
7. Controlling operational costs and overheads to ensure profitability.
8. Implementing cost-saving initiatives.
9. Planning and organizing operational activities and work schedules.
10. Managing client escalations.
11. Ensuring adequate staffing and supervision at all sites.
12. Completing employee performance reviews.
13. Ensuring availability of equipment and materials.
14. Conducting audits.
