Operations out of Warrington Depot
The Role
Each day involves approximately 20 deliveries of various sizes. Your day is structured and fully supported:
* The Morning Routine: Collect your vehicle in Preston and arrive at the Warrington Depot for your start slot (06:30–09:00). Upon arrival, you will receive your daily route sheet and work with your partner to load your deliveries.
* The Work: A mix of standard drop-offs and some flat-pack assembly. While some items require a 2-man lift, the workload is varied and not every item is heavy.
* Full Support: You will have access to a dedicated Drivers Line to speak with throughout the day for real-time support, alongside our team WhatsApp group.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful, you must meet the following criteria:
* Punctuality: Absolute reliability is required for depot arrival times to ensure the route stays on schedule.
* Communication: Must be an active member of our WhatsApp group chat and comfortable using the Drivers Line to check in and resolve issues.
* Hands-on Attitude: Comfortable with basic flat-pack assembly for certain deliveries (screwdrivers/basic tools).
* Physical Fitness: Capability to perform 2-man lifts when required, balanced with lighter deliveries.
* Independence: Ability to manage your route and follow daily procedures while working remotely.
* Flexibility: A team-player attitude with the availability to work some weekends.
