Production Planner Pay, Hours, and Benefits
* 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (with some flexibility)

The Production Planner role is commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Sutton in Ashfield, Mansfield, and Chesterfield.
Production Planner Candidate Requirements
* Detailed understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
* Strong ownership and influencing skills to work across various stakeholder groups.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management within manufacturing.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential).
* Proficient in Excel.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and act on MRP recommendations to release production orders to ensure OTIF across the product range.
* Input into item parameters and BOM changes, maximizing efficiency while maintaining integrity.
* Plan capacity and schedule work with Production.
* Prepare sales order data for order management.
* Manage daily orders through production.
* Communicate with Sales regarding fulfillment dates where stock is unavailable.
* Resolve issues within the production process to achieve OTIF.
* Ensure sales orders are shipped and invoiced on the day of dispatch.
* Collaborate with the Production Planning Analyst for forward planning.
* Maintain documentation related to Production Planning activities, including Process Instructions, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
* Contribute to process improvements across the end-to-end business.
