We are seeking a proactive and professional Security Officer to join our Facilities team working on nights Monday to Friday, 6pm to 6am The ideal person will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of colleagues, customers, and premises across our Avonmouth and Chepstow estate. This is a vital role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment, where courtesy and professionalism are paramount. Key Responsibilities Ensure the safety and security of all personnel, visitors, and property. Conduct regular patrols, remaining vigilant for fire risks and suspicious activity. Maintain accurate records and complete incident reports to a high standard. Provide first aid assistance when required. Follow all site opening/closing procedures and emergency protocols. Deliver excellent customer service and uphold a smart, professional appearance. Maintain cleanliness and order in the security office and reception areas. Comply with all health & safety, data protection, and manual handling policies. Report faults, incidents, and training needs promptly to your line manager. What We’re Looking For SIA Licence holder (essential) First Aid qualified (essential) Must be proficient in Speaking, Reading and Writing English Strong communication and customer service skills Intermediate PC skills A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude Ability to work independently and take initiative Full UK driving licence Manual handling awareness Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs Other details Pay Type Salary
