We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Services as a Waste Operative 1. Middlesbrough Council Recycling and Waste services are looking for a Waste Operative to assist in keeping Middlesbrough clean. If you are looking for a career working outdoors and walking long distances and are able to carry out manual handling tasks. Then this may be the job for you! You will have a responsibility for collecting recycling and refuse waste from domestic and Council premises. Removing large items and cleansing of back alleys. Ensure that Health and Safety Legislation is adhered to at all times. The successful applicant will be required to work overtime as and when required including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holiday catchups.
