Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (Higher ST6+/Senior Post CCT) in ENT (Otology & Hearing Implantation).
This post is available from 07 October 2026 until 05 October 2027.
Main duties of the job

2. Intercollegiate Exit Examination or equivalent

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.
About us
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.

Job description
The Fellowship is designed for trainees who want to pursue a career in Otology and Hearing Implantation. Candidates should have at least four years experience as a Specialty Registrar in a Type 1 post and hold the FRCS (ORL-HNS) exit examination or equivalent.
This Fellowship offers exposure to all aspects of complex Otological practice and Hearing Implantation under the guidance of 6 Otologists. It is expected that the successful applicant will have good core otological skills and a desire to be involved in Departmental research opportunities.
