Key Responsibilities
* This role requires some ad-hoc pre‑planned UK travel and coverage beyond normal working hours as and when required.
* Serve as the main point of contact for dedicated customer accounts.
* Own the customer relationships across multiple departments such as commercial, technical, and supply chain.
* Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and improve service performance.
* Collaborate with multiple internal departments across commercial, production, new product development, supply chain, and technical to ensure the smooth running of all facets of the account.
* Oversee daily account operations such as product listings, contract execution, delivery coordination, and performance tracking.
* Ensure clear and timely communications both internally and externally, including forecasting and production/promotional planning.
* Deliver outstanding customer service through proactive account management and strategic planning.
* Understand and manage customer systems for new product forms, changes in agreements, etc.
* Be the expert on customer requirements and ways of working, to lead the factory site in adhering to customers’ codes of practice.
* Project manage new product launches, where UK travel may be required to attend customer meetings alongside the NPD team.
* Attend key customer conferences to stay up to date with their changes and requirements.
* Manage key technical information with relevant customers in the form of monthly KPI meetings discussing complaints, projects, and overarching industry and business news.
* Compile and present seasonal market information internally and with key customers.
* Conduct store visits to review product quality and industry developments.
* Attend taste panels to review product quality and adherence to customers’ agreed quality parameters.
* Generate accurate and timely sales reports for internal stakeholders and external clients.

Desired Skills & Experience
* Degree in a relevant discipline or proven experience in a comparable FMCG role.
* Strong commercial and numeracy awareness.
* A natural people person with excellent communication, comfortable presenting.
* Extremely organized, great attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* High level of tenacity, self‑motivated, able to multitask and prioritize important deadlines.
* Team‑oriented with a results‑driven mindset.
* IT literate with strong spreadsheets, Word processing and Power‑Point experience.
