An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Formulation Technician (Level II) to join our well-established medical device company located in Livingston, Scotland. The position will be appointed on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to Formulation Supervisor, the successful candidate part of a team responsible for preparing and operating chemical process equipment to manufacture batches of formulation bulk. By operating valves and running pumps, you will make a positive contribution to the wider team. Full training will be provided for all tasks.

Hours of work are 37.5 hours on day shift, with a flexible start and finish time. Key responsibilities:
To ensure all formulation tasks are carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Complete batch paperwork clearly and thoroughly.
Monitor critical process parameters, report, and appropriately document any observed quality issues within the manufacturing area in a timely manner.
Adhere to all Health & Safety guidance associated within the production areas.
Ensure effective housekeeping is maintained through appropriate cleanroom discipline and cleaning regimes.
Full training will be provided for all responsibilities Skills and Experience:
Ability to work independently.

Good organisational skills
Effective communication skills with colleagues
Working knowledge of IT packages including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Previous experience working in manufacturing - pharmaceuticals, medical devices and other clean room based industries advantageous
Time management skills. Desirable:
Previous experience handling bulk chemicals
