Job Title: Mobile Multiskilled Engineer
Location: Dudley Lifts Portfolio (with potential travel to Bristol & Oxford)
Salary: £36, £38, per annum + on-call allowance
Working Hours: Monday Friday, 7:00am 3:30pm
Reports to: Engineering Supervisor

About the Role:
EQUANS is recruiting for a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to join our team supporting a key Healthcare contract in the Dudley area. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of mechanical and general maintenance tasks, including PPM, reactive works, and minor installations. This is a mobile role with potential support to the wider Bristol and Oxford regions as required.
This is a critical position within a high-performing engineering team, ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
2. Complete accurate and timely reports, paperwork, and compliance documentation
3. Perform minor mechanical installations and general maintenance
4. Control and supervise sub-contractors and safety documentation
5. Manage spare part requirements and report on repair status
6. Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota (currently 1 in 3)
7. Work safely within company SHEQ standards and contribute to sustainability goals
8. Ensure all works are carried out with a customer-first approach
Key Technical Competencies:
9. Plumbing (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 essential)
10. Drainage, pressure systems, TMVs, sanitary ware
11. Heating systems, pumps, AHUs, thermal wheels
12. General building services maintenance
13. Understanding of BMS and fire/life safety systems
14. Basic knowledge of electrical systems (single and three-phase)
15. General handyman duties
16. RAMS & Permit to Work systems knowledge
Qualifications & Experience Required:
17. Recognised Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services qualification
18. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Pipework (essential)
19. HTM Compliance awareness (RP/AP roles desirable)
20. Health & Safety and Legionella Awareness
21. TMV City & Guilds
22. Familiarity with LV electrical systems
23. IT proficient (Word, Excel, reporting systems)
24. IPAF 3a & 3b (desirable)
25. Refrigeration & air conditioning knowledge (advantageous)
