Are you an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter with proven expertise working on heavy machinery, looking to join a highly accredited demolition company?
On offer is a job at a well-established, multi-disciplinary company, that works across a wide range of projects within the mechanical demolition sector. Experience working with heavy equipment, especially Caterpillar, is required. Progression to senior positions is available.
In this role, you will work on a variety of equipment, including excavators ranging from 20 to 90 tonnes. Your responsibilities will include repair, maintenance, inspections, fault diagnostics, and fabrication or modification of parts. The role will involve a combination of workshop-based and on-site work, depending on operational requirements.
This role would suit a candidate with extensive experience in servicing and repairing heavy machinery, along with strong knowledge of hydraulic systems. Refresher training in welding and soldering can be provided; however prior experience is beneficial.
The Role
* Repair and maintenance of heavy machinery
* Inspections of heavy machinery
* Split between workshop and site
* Monday to Friday, 7:30 - 4:30
The Person
* NVQ level 2 (minimum)
* Proven experience in fitting and heavy equipment
* Full clean driving license
