The Organisation
The Risk Management Authority (RMA) is a non-departmental public body, established in 2006. A small team of fewer than 30, we aim to support our colleagues in many ways, embracing our values of learning, integrity, fairness, and excellence. We’re currently working a 35-hour week on a hybrid basis to promote work/life balance, with a flexible working policy and flexi-time for all staff. As part of the Scottish Government, we offer benefits including 29 days’ annual leave plus 11½ public/privilege holidays, which can be taken flexibly. Our colleagues are enrolled in the civil service pension scheme.
We value the experience and expertise of our team. Supporting your professional development is a priority, and we offer a generous CPD program. We also provide an Employee Assistance Service (EAS) accessible 24/7, 365 days a year, for support with work or personal issues.
