Overview
Therapy Hive Ltd. is a growing independent therapy service providing high-quality Speech and Language Therapy across the West Midlands and South West (Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Bristol, Somerset and Herefordshire). We support both children and adults with a wide range of communication and dysphagia needs. Our work spans direct assessment and intervention, contribution to EHCPs and medico-legal reports, and the delivery of training for families, schools, and care teams. Role Description
We are looking for experienced associate Speech and Language Therapists to join our friendly team. This flexible role offers opportunities to:
* Deliver assessment and intervention for children and/or adults with communication and dysphagia needs; contribute to high-quality written reports, including EHCPs, annual reviews, and (where relevant) medico-legal work
* Provide training and advice to families, schools, care providers, and other professionals
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including OTs, therapy assistants, and case managers
The role is offered on a freelance basis with flexibility around caseloads and working hours. Sessions are delivered in homes, education settings, and community settings, with some remote work and admin and report writing from home.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration (essential)
* Experience supporting clients with communication disorders (essential)
* Experience in dysphagia management (desirable but not essential – training/mentoring can be provided)
* Strong written skills for professional report writing
* Ability to work independently, manage your own caseload, and communicate effectively as part of a wider team
* Experience in contributing to EHCPs, tribunal reports, or medico-legal assessments (desirable)
* Commitment to reflective practice, CPD, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches
