Job Description
What You'll Be Doing
3. Manage the full finance function: invoicing, cash posting, journals
4. Lead monthly reporting: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow & insightful MI
5. Cashflow forecasting and debtor management
6. Payroll processing & compliance (UK & US)
7. Drive cost management & financial controls
8. Collaborate with outsourced finance partners to ensure global compliance
9. Manage statutory filings and tax returns (with external support as needed)
10. Identify and mitigate financial risk with a robust control framework
11. Lead ad hoc finance projects, including M&A, systems upgrades & process improvement
Your day to day role will include
12. Overseeing Accounts Receivable & Payable from invoice prep to bank allocations
13. Daily bank reconciliations and credit card management
14. Month-end ownership including all journals, reconciliations & board pack input
15. Revenue matching, payroll journal entries, VAT reconciliation
16. Reporting KPIs to CFO, with deep dives into performance drivers
The Successful Applicant
What you will bring to the role:
17. An accredited degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
18. Ideally you will have some accountancy exams under your belt, MAAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA
19. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
20. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
21. Passion for process improvement and financial rigour
22. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modelling)
23. Experience processing payroll a strong plus
