Solace for Children have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Residential support worker to join our team. We have recently been finalists for the 2025 Children and Young People awards in several categories, including Employer Award, Children's Champions Award, and Children's Home Team Award.
We are looking for individuals who are motivated and passionate to deliver the best care possible for our children. As a Senior support worker, you will lead and inspire a team of Residential Support workers in the day-to-day running of the home, working closely with your home's Deputy and Manager.

Essential Job Criteria:
* Minimum of 1 year's current experience working within a Children's Residential Setting
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or currently working towards)
* Fun, energetic, passionate, caring, creative, dynamic, and motivated personality
Requirements:
* Ability to work a shift pattern of 7:30am-11pm, followed by two days off, on a three-week rolling rota (including evening/weekend work and bank holidays)
* Able to undertake sleep-in and on-call duties (paid additionally)
* Full UK driver's license due to location and nature of the role
* Minimum of 21 years old due to insurance purposes
