My client, a well-established private practice law firm, is seeking a talented solicitor to join their busy litigation department due to sustained growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for solicitors across the PQE spectrum – NQ (Newly Qualified) through to senior solicitors with extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
The Role
You will manage a varied and engaging caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, which may include:
* Contract disputes
* Property litigation
* Debt recovery
* Professional negligence
* Contentious probate
* Company and partnership disputes
* General dispute resolution work
You will handle files from initial instruction through to resolution, with appropriate supervision depending on your PQE level.
Key Responsibilities
* Running a mixed litigation caseload independently
* Providing high-quality legal advice to a diverse client base
* Drafting pleadings, statements, applications, and correspondence
* Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and case management requirements
* Building long-term client relationships and contributing to department growth
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
* NQ to 6+ PQE in litigation or dispute resolution considered
* Strong drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills
* Ability to manage a busy caseload with excellent attention to detail
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
