Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing 3rd line support across IT infrastructure, resolving complex issues via a ticketing system.
2. Managing on-premises infrastructure including VMware clusters, SANs, firewalls, and switches.
3. Working on infrastructure automation using tools like PowerShell, Git, and Ansible.
4. Leading and delivering internal and customer-facing IT projects.
5. Maintaining infrastructure through patching, upgrades, testing, and proactive monitoring.
6. Implementing IT security policies and VPN solutions in line with compliance standards.
7. Supporting ISO compliance, risk management, and audit readiness.
8. Assisting with disaster recovery planning and business continuity measures.
9. Overseeing IT asset management, procurement, and vendor relationships.
10. Producing and maintaining technical documentation and delivering occasional user training.
About You:
You'll thrive in this role if you're a proactive engineer who enjoys solving problems creatively and working in a collaborative, in-person team environment. This is not a remote or hybrid position - full-time presence in the office is essential.
You should have:
11. 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure roles.
12. Hands-on experience managing VMware environments.
13. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration.
14. Familiarity with networking concepts (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).
15. Exposure to automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or CI/CD workflows.
16. A solid understanding of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
17. Experience supporting or maintaining ISO or similar frameworks.
18. Strong communication and documentation skills.
