The Role: Bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and monitoring. Produce, manage and monitor monthly management accounts for the individual. Support the senior management and audit team Assist in the preparation of audit reports where appropriate and necessary Support, plan and/ or deliver compliance reports To support the Finance Audit Partner by providing details relating to the monitoring of expenditures against restricted budgets Support the Central Team with payroll when necessary To continually review, develop and improve systems, processes, and services in support of the company’s vision of excellence Any other reasonable task or duty that falls within the remit of the central function within the company Experience in producing financial forecasts on a regular basis and month-end procedures Key skills: Good standard of education including Maths & English A-C grades Ability to see the bigger picture and understand how the Finance function underpins the work of the company Ability to build rapport and relationships with specific experience in dealing with the various layers of stakeholders Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise in a positive way Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and listening Ability to analyse, present and understand financial information A public sector/Education working background would be beneficial Due to high levels of applications, Aspire Recruitment will only be able to contact candidates who are short-listed for the role.
