Job Title: Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home Location: Sheffield Salary: £62,500 - £72,500 per annum (including performance-related bonuses) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a stable and well-established children's residential care provider for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 6-bed EBD children's home that has been operational for just over a year. The home supports young people aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. It is currently home to two settled residents, with capacity for four more. The service received a 'Good' rating from Ofsted at its most recent inspection in February and is now seeking a strong leader to drive continuous improvement and aim for Outstanding. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned Registered Manager looking to lead an already well-functioning home - with future opportunities to move into a broader Operations Manager role as the organisation continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring it meets all regulatory and safeguarding requirements Maintain and build on the current Ofsted rating, driving the home towards 'Outstanding' Develop and support a skilled and stable care team alongside a new Deputy Manager Implement and oversee trauma-informed care planning and behaviour support strategies Manage budgets, rotas, quality audits and reporting Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, schools, and families Work closely with the Responsible Individual to ensure the home continues to meet strategic and operational goals Requirements Essential: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Proven track record as a Registered Manager in a children's residential home Experience achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings in previous roles Strong leadership, safeguarding, and care planning expertise Full UK driving licence Desirable: Experience managing homes for 5 young people Therapeutic or trauma-informed care background Ambition to move into senior/operational leadership roles in the future Working Pattern & Package Full-time, Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities Salary: £62,500 base, with performance bonuses up to £72,500 Supportive team structure, including Deputy Manager and longstanding care staff Future progression pathway to Operations Manager role Why Apply?
