We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join secondary schools in Halstead immediately. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to teach practical and theoretical food technology, helping students develop essential life skills and a passion for cooking.
The Role:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Teach students about nutrition, food science, and healthy eating habits.
* Deliver practical cooking sessions, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
* Encourage creativity and innovation in food preparation and presentation.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing guidance and support where needed.
* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and food-related events.
* Encourage students to reach their full potential
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
* A strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and nutrition.
* Passion for inspiring students and making food education enjoyable.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
