The role also includes specialist training in fire door maintenance, a key focus of the apprenticeship.“The role will also concentrate on the principles of fire door maintenance working closely with the Sodexo Lead person for fire for site.”What You'll DoSupporting day‑to‑day building maintenance across the hospital estateLearning to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance tasksAssisting with fault diagnosis, repairs, and testing of plant and equipmentMaintaining and preparing work areas, reinstating them after tasksCompleting apprenticeship coursework, portfolios, and assessmentsUsing Sodexo's CAFM system to process and monitor maintenance tasksAttending college one day per weekWorking professionally with patients, staff, and visitorsWhat You BringGood verbal, numeracy, and interpersonal skillsGCSE Maths & English at Grade 4 or aboveWillingness to attend specialist training (including fire door training)Ability to work as part of a team and independentlyStrong attention to detail and ability to priorities tasksCommitment to health & safety best practiceDesirableAwareness of health & safety legislationWhat We OfferWorking at Sodexo means joining a team with purpose.
