Senior Estates Surveyor / Senior Valuer
Location: Leicester
Pay: £500 per day Umbrella
Contract: 3-Month Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Estates Surveyor / Senior Valuer to join a busy Strategic Property Services team on an interim basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload of estate management and valuation matters
* Undertake valuations for acquisition, disposal, lease renewals, rent reviews and accounting purposes
* Negotiate landlord & tenant matters including leases, rent reviews and lease renewals
* Support asset management strategies and identify opportunities for optimisation and disposal
* Prepare technical reports, briefings and development appraisals
* Monitor service charges, expenditure and property-related budgets
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, external agents, solicitors and contractors
* Support third-party development projects and joint-use arrangements
* Ensure compliance with statutory and professional standards
Requirements
* Degree in Estate Management, Land Management or related discipline
* Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
* Significant post-qualified experience in valuation and estate management
* Strong landlord & tenant experience
* Experience within a public sector property environment
* Knowledge of asset valuation for accounting purposes
* Experience managing external agents and professional consultants
* Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable
* Experience managing operational real estate portfolios
* Knowledge of planning and construction matters
* Experience preparing budgets and expenditure forecasts
