Job Description:
The Associate Director of Sustainable Procurement is responsible for leading teams and programs to help clients meet their social and environmental targets. This includes orienting clients’ procurement operations towards net zero and better environmental and social outcomes across multiple projects.
The successful candidate will make a sustainable impact on large-scale flagship projects, working with and managing a team of specialist procurement and sustainability consultants.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage sustainable procurement initiatives across various projects, helping clients improve environmental, social, and economic outcomes.
* Lead project teams and play a key role in global transformation programs.
* Provide guidance and management to colleagues on client projects.
* Identify and improve clients’ environmental performance to meet sustainability targets.
* Develop sustainable procurement services and propositions.
* Contribute to business development in sustainable procurement.
* Help achieve team and company-wide targets.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience implementing sustainable procurement strategies.
* Research and insights in sustainable procurement.
* Procurement consulting experience from client, contractor, or professional services backgrounds.
* Experience with ISO 20400 (preferred but not essential).
* Strong leadership and project management skills.
* Experience in developing client-facing propositions and eminence.
* Understanding of ESG legislation and regulations.
* Experience engaging with suppliers on sustainability initiatives.
* Ability to work independently and mentor others.
* Skills in work, business, and career development management.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
* A degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business Management, or related fields.
* Willingness to pursue or work towards Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
