About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SENDCo to join a welcoming school community in Worksop. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible, with the opportunity to continue until the end of the academic year. The successful SENDCo will play a vital role in leading and developing the SEND provision, ensuring that every pupil receives the support they need to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic development of SEND provision as the school’s SENDCo.

Identify, assess, and coordinate support for pupils with SEND in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
*
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement effective strategies and individual education plans (IEPs).
*
Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure high-quality, joined-up provision.
*
Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions, ensuring that the needs of all pupils are met.
*
Contribute to whole-school inclusion, staff development, and continuous improvement as part of the senior leadership team.
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*
NASENCo qualification
*
Proven experience as a SENDCo or in a similar leadership role supporting pupils with additional needs.
*
Excellent knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice.
*
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
