ChandlerKBS is seeking to recruit a Cost Intelligence Manager to join our Utilities team, working on projects across South Wales.
This role will be based in our Penarth Office.
The role of a Cost Intelligence Manager includes the following responsibilities:
* Provide support for the day-to-day delivery of Cost Intelligence projects and demonstrate the ability to take on tasks with minimal supervision.
* Support delivery capability and promote knowledge capture, sharing, and innovation.
* Understand budget estimates, cost plans, and cost reports.
* Support cost assurance services through data analysis, data cleansing, estimating, and benchmarking.
* Assist in the preparation of cost and benchmark estimates.
* Prepare cost rates, cost models, and engineering definitions.
* Accurately allocate project cost data and design information to the relevant work-breakdown-structures and cost hierarchies.
* Maintain dashboard reports for external clients.
* Provide input and assistance for data capture, storage, analysis, and reporting.
* Support cost database management and maintenance.
* Assist in the development and management of costing tools.
* Support and maintain internal cost intelligence database systems.
* Monitor industry cost trends and maintain index registers.
* Deliver all work outputs accurately and on time, maintaining high quality standards.
* Proactively support the delivery of work where appropriate.
* Ensure service delivery complies with the Practice's policies and procedures, including Health and Safety and Quality Assurance.
* Provide services in accordance with the client's corporate governance procedures where applicable.
* Achieve objectives as outlined in the annual performance review process.
* Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
* Work to deadlines set by the Project Team Leader.
* Maintain proper filing of project correspondence as per requirements.

* Ideally HND/HNC/OND/ONC in a technical or construction-related subject.

* Energetic, motivated, resourceful, and adaptable to change.

* Interest in the construction industry and technical matters.
* Proficient in IT, including MS Office.
* Ability to handle and collate multiple data sources.
