Start Date: September 2025Position: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Pay: From £89 per day/ £13.86 per hour Long-term opportunities available We are currently seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to join supportive school settings in the Sandwell area to start in September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity working with pupils who require additional support. You will be providing tailored assistance either 1:1 or in small groups, helping students access learning and thrive in the school environment. Key Responsibilities: •Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN) •Assist in implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs) •Support students' academic, emotional, and social development •Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff •Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment Requirements: •Previous school-based experience is essential •Experience working with children with SEN is essential •Positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young people •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact and be part of a committed school team focused on inclusion and pupil progress.
