Full time, Part time or Job Share.
Permanent Contract – 18.5 to 36.75 Hours per week.
Full‑time equivalent £29,754.27 per annum (Inclusive of £1.07 per hour, store specific location allowance) + Pension + 6.6 Weeks Holiday.

Overview
Your role as a Shift Lead is pivotal in ensuring a safe working and shopping environment. You’ll oversee your shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. B&Q’s ambition is to make every customer count, so you’ll strive to ensure a place colleagues love to work and customers love to shop.
Responsibilities
* Be the heartbeat of the store day‑to‑day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
* Deploy colleagues to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
* Serve as the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
* Maintain the safety of the store at all times.
Requirements
* Passionate about customers and doing the right thing for them.
* Comfortable with a global view, not constrained to specific areas of the store.
* Safety‑conscious and detail‑oriented to spot compliance opportunities.
* Enjoy interacting with colleagues and working in a team.
* Bring energy to each day and motivate those around you.
* Confident to exercise autonomy and make decisions for the customer at pace.
