Supporting People on Probation Navigator
Location: Essex
Salary: £14,400 per annum

As a Supporting People on Probation Navigator, you’ll join our Essex team and walk alongside individuals as they rebuild their lives, strengthen their relationships, and move towards a crime‑free future. You’ll help People on Probation complete their supervision successfully, overcome social and emotional barriers, and reconnect with their families, communities and wider support networks.
What you’ll be doing
* Supporting adults to understand and improve their relationships, wellbeing, lifestyle and social circumstances
* Delivering 1:1 and group interventions designed to reduce reoffending
* Working closely with Probation Practitioners to agree Action Plans linked to sentence requirements
* Keeping clear, accurate records and maintaining high safeguarding standards
* Attending probation offices and community spaces across Southend, Chelmsford, Leyndon, Colchester and Harlow
This is a primarily in‑person role, with occasional virtual delivery to meet service user needs. Some evening work is required, and a full UK driving licence is desirable due to regular travel between sites.
Who you’ll be looking for

* Work confidently both independently and within a team
* Bring creativity, flexibility and a commitment to doing meaningful work
Background in justice sector, psychology, counselling, education, social care, health, social prescribing, or transferable experience from another background is desirable.
