What you will be doing:
Are you a creative and strategic communicator with a passion for student engagement and employability? We’re looking for an experienced marketing and communications professional to lead our Information & Communications team within Careers and Employability Services.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Shape and deliver our communications strategy, ensuring our services are effectively promoted to students, graduates, staff, and external stakeholders.
2. Lead the development of engaging content across digital and traditional platforms, manage our website and social media channels, and coordinate impactful campaigns that support student success.
3. Lead the organisation and delivery of high-profile engagement events such as careers fairs and employer workshops
4. Manage a team of Engagement and Events Advisers, administrators, and student champions.
Qualifications/ experience:
5. A Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
6. A professional qualification in marketing or a related field (e.g. CIM).
7. Proven experience in marketing coordination, content creation, and campaign delivery.
8. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, PPC, and brand identity.
9. Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
10. Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement
