Job Overview
Position: Locally Employed Foundation Year 2 Doctor in ENT at Queens Hospital in Burton on Trent. Fixed‑term contract of 4 months (April 2026 – 4 August 2026) with possible extension.
Responsibilities
* Provide routine and emergency medical care at Foundation Year 2 level under senior supervision.
* Work in outpatient, theatre, emergency department, and ward settings.
* Collaborate with nursing, medical and para‑medical staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Keep senior colleagues informed and seek advice as necessary.
* Perform additional duties during emergencies and unforeseen circumstances, with time off in lieu.
* Adhere to Trust policies and procedures on health & safety, personal practice and clinical service.
Qualifications
* Completed Foundation Year 1 training or equivalent.
* Interest in ENT.
