Location: This role is offered on a permanent basis. It is a hybrid role, combining remote work with being in our Corby office one or two days a week. Some travel to international business sites is required, approximately eight to ten weeks per year.
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Group Operational Audit team. The team supports the design and implementation of internal controls, managing risks, and achieving strategic objectives. This pivotal role involves planning, executing, and completing operational audits in the UK and internationally.
What you will be doing:
* Planning and conducting operational audits to evaluate operational and financial controls, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
* Identifying risk areas and proposing solutions to mitigate potential issues.
* Building strong relationships across functions to enhance risk management and providing expertise on audit matters.
* Supporting a high-performing audit team, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
About you:
* Experience in external/internal audit and risk management.
* Knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
* Effective collaboration skills with teams, management, and external stakeholders.
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or professional certification (e.g., IIA, ACA).
* Experience presenting reports to senior management.
