Job Description
3. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
4. Provide scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to inform business decisions.
5. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other overhead departments to deliver actionable insights.
6. Present financial performance and KPIs to senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
7. Preparation of the monthly management accounts, including overhead reviews, month end journal posting and balance sheet reconciliations
8. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting across multiple cost centres.
9. Use Power Query and Power Automate to streamline reporting processes and improve data integrity.
10. Demonstrate resilience and persistence when implementing process improvements across teams.
11. Identify opportunities for automation and support the implementation of AI-driven solutions.
12. Coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
13. Review and approve journals in line with authorisation limits.
14. Contribute to the development and testing of new incentive schemes and financial policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
15. Qualified Accountant
16. Proven experience in financial modelling and data analysis.
17. Strong business partnering skills with cross-functional teams.
18. Confident presenting to senior leaders and influencing decision-making.
19. Resilient and proactive in driving process improvements.
20. Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Automate.
21. Interest in AI and its application in finance and reporting.
22. Understanding of transactional finance functions
23. Experience in a large or complex organisation.
