Overview
Graduate Quantity Surveyor opportunity at Mott MacDonald, focusing on managing capital investment and forecasting financial impacts across infrastructure and property projects. You will be supported by a collaborative team and gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of project delivery.
Your Role & Responsibilities
* Work across all phases of project delivery, from early design to final settlement.
* Accurately manage capital expenditure and assess the financial impact of infrastructure and property assets on client business models.
* Gain exposure to contract reviews, commercial strategy, and construction settlements.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure financial integrity and project success.
* Support clients across Environment & Water, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Property, and Transportation sectors.
* Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, promoting transparency, accountability, and shared success.

Locations: Buildings – Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff; Defence – Bristol and Exeter; Water – London and Reading. You will select a preferred location as part of the application.
Candidate Specification
We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates who want to make a real difference. To be eligible, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and hold a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or be expected to achieve one in Quantity Surveying. Demonstrate genuine interest in the opportunity and in joining Mott MacDonald through relevant experience, modules, prior work, or research about our company, values, and projects.
