If you’re ready to move fast, think big, and own both the foundations and the forecast, we’d love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:ReportingPreparation and design of management accountsPreparation of design of board packs alongside co-foundersWorking closely with the founders and Exec team on data and analytics and how that supports decision-making across the businessForecastingShort-term cash flow forecasting (13-week rolling tactical cashflow)5-year yearly forecast modelFinancial controls and policiesFinancial controls in place to make sure, including coordinating with Ops teams on collectionsPayrollSupport the annual Audit processEnd-of-year submissionsFinancial StrategyPreparation of materials to support fundraising and involvement in pitching as requiredRecommendations to increase the profitability of the business to commercial stakeholders within the teamAccounting and BookkeepingOwnership and delivery of accounting processes that support the Management of AccountingPoint of contact for external accountantsReconciliations, including demonstrating a strong understanding of the makeup of the balance sheetVAT returnsHMRC / Companies House submissions, including those for share options schemesPension administrationOversight of the Cap Table and management of insurance policiesAbout You - You will ideally have:4-5 years of business and finance experience, ideally with some audit backgroundPreferably with experience from one of the UKs Top 30 Accountancy FirmsChartered accountantExperience managing a small finance teamAbility to interact with the board and investorsHas worked within a start-up or scale-up environmentIdeally working at a head of finance level, financial controller, or as a senior finance managerArticulate and commercially astuteA passion for technology innovation and driven by new ideasYou might be an even better fit if you have:Previous knowledge or experience working within the property, architecture, or construction sectorsAn interest in architecture/home improvementAn understanding of the lifecycle of a house extension project - maybe you have renovated your own home?What We Can Offer You:Resi are a team of ~80 people based in the heart of Oval, South London.
