About The Client: The company is a really innovative insurance technology company that has now successfully launched and delivered their products in the UK and are now expanding into new markets within the insurance industry. The business is Private Equity owned, and has a recent market valuation approaching £40 million. The business has a headcount of around 100 people. The Private Equity owners wish to appoint a new Managing Director who will have the challenge of continuing business growth, maintaining high levels of EBITDA, and also maturing and preparing the business for planned IPO. This role has arisen as a result of the existing Managing Director / CEO deciding to move on from the business following the completion of an earn out. The challenge is for the incoming Managing Director to continue the business on an impressive growth trajectory, whilst simultaneously maintaining high levels of EBITDA, as that is critical for the eventual profitable exit of the PE owners (circa 2-3 years).
