Contract: Full-Time Position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: Competitive, Based on the M1 - M6 Teaching Scale AND Determined by Experience
THE ROLE
* Lead and manage the provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities.
* Develop and implement effective SEND policies and practices.
* Coordinate and deliver tailored support plans for individual students.
* Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Conduct assessments and monitor progress to adjust interventions as needed.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on SEND strategies and best practices.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
YOU
* Enhanced DBS check.
* Previous experience within a school setting.
* QTS or relevant teaching or education qualification.
* Proven experience in a SENDCO role or similar.
* Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.
* Commitment to promoting inclusive education.
