Salary: £75,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for candidates who possess a strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure management. You should have a solid understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and ideally hold a CCNA or CCNP certification. Experience with FortiGate Firewalls and Windows Operating Systems is essential. Additionally, familiarity with WAN, LAN, VPN, and wireless networks is required for this role. Responsibilities: In this position, you will report to the IT Operations Manager and oversee our core infrastructure and networking. Your key responsibilities will include leading and managing office and site networks to align with our business strategy, acting as an escalation point for the Service Desk Team, and setting up and configuring Local Area Networks (LANs). You will coordinate with third-party managed service providers to ensure seamless operations and business continuity, manage firewall operations and ISP connectivity, and oversee network IP addressing and VPN setups. You will also be responsible for supporting business continuity through proactive incident management, rapidly deploying site connectivity solutions such as 4G routers, monitoring network health and performance, and maintaining infrastructure and software inventory records. Collaboration with our Security Operations Centre (SOC) on network security, supporting software licensing and upgrades, assisting with data privacy and security audits, and providing technical support and mentoring will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will maintain server rooms to ensure operational efficiency and develop and implement business processes and documentation.
