My client is a leading non-profit organisation with an exceptional reputation for providing quality homes and excellentmunity services across Kent. Due to progression in the team, we are partnering to recruit the permanent role of Head ofmunications & Marketing to work hybrid from their offices in Kent.
Your new role
As Head of Function, you will lead themunications team in all areas of Marketing, Internal, External and Crisismunications. This includes website management, cultivation of corporate branding, PR & Media, overseeing award entries and large-scale events, internal engagement with both employees and residents, and building key external relationships. As a senior leader, you will be business partnering with key stakeholders to support strategic objectives and ensure that their voice is clear, consistent, andpelling, both internally and externally. You will create a plan to ensuremunications campaigns align and aremunicating the key messages and values of the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will utilise your significant experience in a seniormunications or marketing leadership role within aplex organisation, ideally with experience within housing or a similar environment. You will need strong crisismunications and media handling experience, a deep understanding of digitalmunications and audience engagement, and be able to play a leading role in designing and configuring website/intranet systems.
As a senior leader, you will possess team management experience, strongmunications skills and the ability to build relationships with and manage key stakeholders, both internally and externally. The ability to build rapport, collaborate and influence people at all levels of the organisation is paramount, and a strength in public speaking would be helpful.
