Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Desk & Social Media Assistant to join our team. This role is split between customer-facing desk duties and supporting Sixers' online presence through social media content creation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, good computer literacy, and a passion for engaging with people both in person and online.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Customer Service
* Welcome players, parents, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
* Manage bookings, enquiries, and payments through our booking system.
* Handle phone calls and email communication promptly and effectively.
* Support coaches and management with administrative tasks.
* Ensure the reception and facility remain tidy and organised.
Social Media & Marketing
* Create and edit short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
* Post engaging updates about coaching programmes, events, and behind-the-scenes content.
* Work with the coaching team to capture photos/videos during sessions.
* Monitor engagement and respond to community interaction online.
Skills & Attributes
* Confident, outgoing personality with excellent people skills.
* Strong computer literacy (booking systems, email, social media tools).
* Basic video editing and creative content skills.
* Reliable, organised, and proactive.
* Ability to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota.
* Interest in cricket or sport is desirable but not essential.
Hours & Pay
* Part-time role (evenings and weekends).
* Flexible hours depending on programme schedules.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
