Maths Teacher – Chichester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-term until December 2025 (with the possibility of becoming permanent)
Pay: £160 – £240 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm | Full-Time

Position Overview:
Supply Desk is currently working with a respected secondary school in the Chichester area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher. The role is set to begin in September 2025, on a long-term basis until December 2025, with a strong likelihood of a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
The successful teacher will deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, working as part of a supportive and forward-thinking Mathematics department. Applications are welcome from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners. The school is also open to considering unqualified teachers or those from a related background with appropriate secondary Maths teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive Maths lessons tailored to a range of learning abilities.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
* Contribute to departmental planning, assessment and resource development.
* Promote high standards of learning, behaviour and achievement in the classroom.
* Take part in wider school life, including extracurricular activities and school events.

What We’re Looking For:
* A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject (essential).
* QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (preferred).
* Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A passion for Mathematics and a commitment to student progress.
