Job Description Duties:
Product Information (PI) is the core of our business. We are responsible for delivering coherent and timely Product Specification and Bill of Materials in line with Programme (Unit / Vehicle) timing. As a PI Propulsion Planner, you will ensure the timely delivery of accurate configured bills of materials to support vehicle line & architecture PCDS milestones for multiple model years. You will develop plans, scenario plan, and coordinate the actions of the Release Operations & Feature Configuration teams. You will be responsible for the accuracy, cleanliness, and timeliness of feature sets and bills of materials to support virtual and physical builds. The role is hybrid once fully trained and competent. Due to the nature of the role and the benefits of face-to-face interactions with engineering teams, the expectation is at least 3 days/week onsite (varying sites across the Midlands, predominantly Whitley), which may increase depending on business requirements. Skills: Applicants should be natural problem solvers who enjoy working with and understanding data. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and a logical approach to solving issues. Ability to interact with various stakeholders and manage workload within the wider PI team. This key role requires a balance of business capabilities to achieve objectives. Confident, articulate, and able to communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels. Results-oriented, working with pace, energy, and confidence. Comfortable challenging stakeholders with strong influencing and engagement skills. Embodies the value of ‘Own it and solve it’. Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and JIRA is beneficial. Education: Experience in project management to generate and manage delivery plans. Understanding of programme scope and change management. Stakeholder management and negotiation skills to meet priorities without compromising the critical path. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and develop solutions. Excellent problem-solving and logical reasoning skills (a test will be required pre-interview). Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
