We have an exciting opportunity to join the Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB) as a part‑time Intelligence Research Officer, where you’ll play a key role in managing intelligence at multiple levels, ensuring it is accurately evaluated and appropriately shared. This includes processing all intelligence‑related queries received by the force, carrying out the necessary research and development, and ensuring timely distribution. During your time in the role, you will undertake the Intelligence Professionalisation Programme to become an accredited Intelligence Researcher.
Responsibilities
* Link intelligence to ensure future research is not affected by incorrect information.
* Assess intelligence to identify threat and risk, escalating to management as required.
* Process Acquisitive Crime notifications from the Ministry of Justice and evaluate Suspicious Activity Reports.
Qualifications
* Research experience, including using a variety of databases to gather, analyse and manage data.
* Experience producing high quality and accurate written correspondence with attention to detail.
* Experience managing phone enquiries and responding verbally and in writing.
