Senior QA Engineer - Wolverhampton
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior QA Engineer to drive quality excellence and continuous improvement across our EMEAA (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia) business units. This is a critical full-time role on a Fixed-Term Contract (FTC), focused primarily on leveraging Quality KPIs to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and managing the Group's Quality Management System (QMS).

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Reporting to: Quality Director EMEAA
Key Responsibilities
You will be the central driver for quality improvement, documentation, and compliance across a multi-site, multi-brand regional structure.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting:
Analyse and utilise Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality control to drive critical process improvement initiatives.
Deliver quarterly and monthly reports detailing key quality successes and trends back to the business.
Support and lead process improvement activities, championing the development and maintenance of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (including Control Plans, PFMEAs, and 8Ds) within manufacturing plants.
QMS & Compliance Management:
Manage compliance to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, including the management of internal audits and management reviews.
Lead the alignment of different brands and sites to common quality processes.
Manage and establish all System Quality Module Management (e.g., MES, EFACS, E-QMS, 3DX).
Problem Solving & CAPA:
Lead, develop, and maintain the non-conformance handling framework with a customer-centric approach.
Undertake detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methods like A3 and 8D to drive improved solutions.
Act as the Regional CAPA Lead, working through issues, and communicating Corrective and Preventative Actions to the correct departments.
Collaboration & Training:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and quality engineers across the region to implement and maintain quality procedures.
Deliver training on quality-related topics and support regional quality projects.
What You Will Already Have
ISO Knowledge: A solid working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and significant experience operating in an ISO compliant environment.
Audit Experience: Previous experience conducting internal audits and managing compliance systems. Qualified internal auditor or lead auditor certification is a plus.
Methodology: Proven ability to take a problem-solving approach and analyse complex situations to generate clear recommendations. Knowledge of quality control methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma is a distinct advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer software for reporting, presentations, and data analysis (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, ERP systems like EFACS).
Communication: Excellent communication skills essential for collaborating effectively with quality engineers and cross-functional regional teams.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
