Responsibilities include:
1. Providing technical pensions administration services, including calculating and making payments of scheme benefits.
2. Training and mentoring junior staff members, supporting their technical development.
3. Checking and authorizing colleagues’ work.
4. Applying benefit structures, trust deed & rules, and pensions legislation.
5. Supporting the Administration Manager to meet departmental deadlines.
6. Handling queries from HMRC and DWP, and liaising with clients, scheme actuaries, and third parties.
7. Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
8. Responding to technical member queries via phone, email, and letter.
