OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF ROLE We are a fast-paced, customer-focused Bodyshop delivering high-quality vehicle repair services. Our team thrives on teamwork, efficiency and commitment to excellence. We are proud to actively support women in the automotive industry. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and driven Operations & Planning Coordinator to join our team. You will be reporting directly to one of the Directors, so this role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, eager to learn, and ready to be the right-hand person to our leadership team. You will receive full training to ensure you can handle the full range of operational tasks, from quoting vehicles to managing workshop workflow and ensuring seamless communication between all departments. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Support the Director in the daily running of the Bodyshop * Learn to prepare accurate vehicle repair quotes * Coordinate workshop movements and job scheduling to maximise efficiency * Assist with monitoring collections and deliveries, advising jobs ready for invoicing * Collaborate with all departments to ensure a smooth workflow from collection through to delivery * Perform quality control checks to maintain high repair standards * Update and manage our Bodyshop Management System with repair statuses and progress updates * Track and update daily KPIs to ensure performance targets are being met * Assist with operational planning, reporting, and ad hoc tasks to keep operations running seamlessly PERSONAL QUALITIES * Excellent organisational and multitasking skills * Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-driven mindset * Confident communicator and team player * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities * utomotive industry experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided * Comfortable with IT systems and data tracking TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT * Be part of a workplace that champions diversity and supports women in the automotive trade * Full training and ongoing professional development opportunities * Opportunity to grow into a leadership role within a successful and expanding business * A collaborative and friendly environment where your contribution truly makes a difference WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU * Salary of £30,000 - £32,000. * You are entitled to 29 days of annual leave, inclusive of the summer bank holidays, plus an additional 3 bank holidays: New Year’s Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. * Optional pension after 3 months * Professional growth and development
