We are looking for talented Managers to join our People Experience team as part of our UK Financial Services People Consulting team. The team provides solutions across Change management & communications, Culture & ways of working, Digital people experience and Future HR.
Overview Of The Role
As a Manager in our team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of transformative projects for our clients, taking an employee-centric approach to delivery. You’ll work within a team to deliver innovative and insightful solutions, showcasing best-practice insights to support successful client delivery. You will provide day-to-day delivery support across project teams, contribute to effective go-to-market strategies, and support development of our overall people consulting capability and solution offering by providing counselling and upskilling opportunities to more junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day project delivery across transformation projects by applying solid project management capability and driving delivery discipline.
* Own project management activities such as workstream/project planning, risk management and reporting.
* Manage and uphold client relationships, instilling trust.
* Lead and develop delivery teams, supporting upskilling of junior staff through on-the-job training, coaching and feedback.
* Oversee and manage development of reports/deliverables to ensure successful delivery of engagement.
* Proactively raise risks and issues with leadership and help develop mitigation plans.
* Contribute to go-to-market activities by managing proposal development, supporting leadership in pitch preparation, and handling critical engagement management tasks.
* Identify and communicate additional engagement opportunities across existing client engagements to contribute to revenue.
* Develop understanding of EY solution offerings and build a personal network to bring EY value to clients, positioning People Consulting alongside other service lines.
Skills And Attributes For Success
* Experience managing workstreams or projects, including delivery planning, leading delivery teams, reviewing deliverables, presenting to clients, and risk management.
* Experience supporting effective change management delivery across a project lifecycle (design to implementation), including change impact assessments, tailored change strategies, stakeholder maps and related assets.
* Experience supporting compelling communication and engagement delivery across a project lifecycle (design to implementation), including audience identification, channel assessments, narratives and creative assets.
* Experience managing, mentoring and coaching junior team members.
Qualifications
* Relevant professional services experience with a global management consultancy, niche consultancy, or internal change management/transformation role with accountability to deliver change programmes.
* Experience working in both small and large multi-disciplinary teams on functional and enterprise-wide transformation engagements.
* Experience delivering change/communications projects in the Financial Services sector (including Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance, Wealth and Asset Management, FinTechs) is preferred.
* Relevant degree-level education and/or professional qualifications.
* Ability to travel (primarily within UK, if required by client).
* Right to work in the UK.
