As our first dedicated Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to take full ownership of the sales process and significantly impact our growth.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Lead sales calls with qualified inbound leads to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
* Create and present custom proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals profitably.
* Manage and maintain a structured sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM.
* Collaborate closely with the marketing and delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact to post-sale support.
* Accurately forecast sales conversions and track performance metrics.
* Nurture relationships with warm prospects and develop long-term client partnerships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales, specifically within professional or high-value services.
* Demonstrated ability to close service projects ranging from £10K to £100K+.
* Experience in the real estate, planning, energy, or infrastructure sectors is highly advantageous.
* Proficient in building relationships with senior stakeholders and managing multi-stakeholder deals.
* High emotional intelligence, excellent listening skills, and the ability to effectively diagnose client needs.
* Organised, CRM-savvy (HubSpot preferred), and a clear, effective communicator.
* Must be commercially aware, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player, ideally with experience in small business environments.
