Vision for Education is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Cover Supervisor Training Programme, developed in partnership with the North East Partnership SCITT.
The role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom when the teacher is away. You’ll:
Lead lessons using pre-prepared plans
Manage the classroom environment
Ensure a smooth handover for the teacher’s return
Training & support
Our tailored training builds your confidence and equips you with the skills you need to succeed. Many of our trainees have gone on to secure permanent school roles, with glowing feedback from headteachers. You’ll gain hands-on experience in our supportive partner schools across Greater Manchester.
What we’re looking for
Natural leadership and the confidence to manage a class
Experience working with young people (e.g. coaching, mentoring, youth work)
Suitable references, valid DBS, and Right to Work in the UK
