We are looking for an IAM Infrastructure Engineer to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital to build and maintain secure, scalable systems for authentication, identity security and encryption.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
* Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, and MFA technologies.
* Experience and knowledge onboarding applications to Entra ID (e.g., Enterprise Applications).
* Proficiency in scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI).
* Experience with Privileged Access Management and RBAC (e.g., Azure PIM or CyberArk PAM).
* Knowledge of Secrets Management.
* Ability to operate effectively in complex environments, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and managing supplier relationships.
You and your role
We build secure, scalable systems that support millions of users, using Entra ID, Active Directory and cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) with extensive automation. This role focuses on identity security, digital encryption, authentication protocols, certificate management and secrets handling. It is fast-paced and evolving. Experience with IAM, PKI and cloud integration, and comfort with scripting and APIs will help you fit in. The team is collaborative, forward-thinking and focused on learning and building impactful solutions.

Location: One of our digital hubs in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle, whichever is most convenient.
Hybrid Working: Hybrid model — some time at home and some time in a hub.
Pay: Up to £52,442.
Pension: Civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97% (worth over £12,000 per year).
Holidays: Generous leave starting at 26 days, rising to 31 days over time. Up to 3 extra flexi-time days per month plus public holidays.
